GOOD TO KNOW
A few helpful details to help you plan your stay and enjoy the weekend with us.
Before You Arrive
What is the dresscode?
For Saturday’s ceremony and celebration, we’re planning a daytime cocktail affair.
Ladies, think flowing dresses, joyful colors, and shoes suited for a garden setting. As the festivities take place outdoors, we recommend avoiding very delicate heels.
Gentlemen, suits or tailored jackets are warmly encouraged (no black tie). Lighter tones are very welcome.
And do bring a light layer. Normandy afternoons can turn a little fresh.
Where should I stay?
You’ll find a curated list of recommended accommodations on the Where to Stay page.
We kindly encourage you to book early, as the region is quite popular during the summer season.
Is it better to rent a car?
Yes, we strongly recommend renting a car. Public transportation is limited in the area, and ubers/taxis can be scarce. It will also give you the freedom to explore all the beautiful gems Normandy has to offer.
Is there parking available on site?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue.
What time should I arrive?
Please refer to the Weekend Schedule page for the timing relevant to you.
- Friday, 10 July at 3:30 PM in front of the town hall of Veules-les-Roses (for close family).
- Saturday, 11 July at 11:30 AM at Le Petit Château de Conteville.
- Sunday Pool Brunch from 11:30 AM, concluding at 2:30 PM.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our wedding is an intimate celebration, and we have thoughtfully invited those who have been part of our love story. If your partner is invited, their name will appear on your invitation.
Due to venue capacity, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed.
Thank you for understanding 🤍
Are children invited?
Yes, children are warmly welcome! If you’ll be bringing little ones, please let us know in your RSVP and kindly mention their age so we can plan accordingly.
During The Weekend
Is transportation provided between venues?
On Saturday, both the ceremony and the celebration will take place at the same location.
As our guests are arriving from many different places and staying in various areas, we’re unfortunately unable to organize transportation for everyone. We strongly recommend coming by car.
Will there be taxis available at the end of the evening?
Taxis and Ubers are quite limited in the area, and it’s unlikely that any will be available on demand at the end of the celebration. For this reason, we kindly recommend coming by car or arranging your return transportation in advance. If needed, you may contact Sébastien, a trusted local taxi driver we have used in the past:
Sébastien — +33 (0)6 51 30 37 00
Uber is also available in the area, though limited, and booking ahead is advised.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
If the weather allows (we’re counting on it!), all celebrations will take place outdoors.
Please bring something to keep warm in the late afternoon, as Normandy evenings can be cool.
And for the ladies — as this is a garden setting with some gravel paths, consider footwear accordingly.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Of course. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP so we can make the necessary arrangements.
